Daring To Dream

Mark 5:25-35

If reading the story in Mark 5:25-35 has taught me anything, it’s that it truly is possible to Dream Big… and Keep Dreaming even when everything is up against you!

I’m sure you’ve known the sting of disappointment, the burden of defeat, and the pain of disapproval. Disappointment, defeat and disapproval have been the cause of death of many peoples dreams and desires. But Big Faith is the spiritual lifeline to dying dreams.

Having big faith doesn’t mean you won’t face disappointment, nor does it guarantee that you’ll never face discouragement or defeat. Big Faith is choosing to stare disappointment and defeat in the eye and declare that God is Bigger! Big Faith isn’t about anything we’ve done or can do but simply about who we know God to be.

  • When the dream feels unachievable… keep believing.
  • When the dream didn’t come when you thought it would… keep believing.
  • When the dream costs you greatly… keep believing.
  • When the world says ‘there’s no hope, it’s only going to get worse’… keep believing!

If Big Faith feels difficult right now, look to who God is:

Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination – (Ephesians 3:20 TPT)

This Song reminds me of just how true Ephesians 3:20 is. I’m praying that as you click here to listen, you’re reminded that there is No Impossible with God!

  • In what ways can you relate to the story of The Bleeding Woman? (Mark 5:25-34)
  • What disappointments have affected your own faith?
  • What other factors can cause the death of your dreams?
  • Read Ephesians 3:20. Knowing what this says about God’s ability to do more than we could ever ask or imagine, consider:
    • What is something you are dreaming for?
    • What are your dreams for the people you love?
    • What Big Dreams do you have for society?
