No Refugee Alone
As a church we are part of the Welcome Churches Network. Welcome Churches have a vision for every refugee in the UK to be welcomed by their local community – and we believe as the church we are part of this.
We are committed to making sure that as a church we are offering the best welcome possible for refugees and asylum seekers, offering support and community.
We are well placed to provide community and care for those who have lost homes and family and are recovering from trauma.
We passionately believe that the church should be at the forefront of challenging injustices faced by refugees and asylum seekers and the fear and prejudice that they can often face within the wider community.
Refugees arriving in the UK should have the freedom and right to explore faith without fear of intimidation or persecution and it is our hope that through our Sunday services and different projects that we run throughout the week we are able to help in this way.
