Community Groups

Community Groups are at the heart of who we are at FCC. They’re small gatherings where we build meaningful relationships, grow in faith, and live out the way of Jesus—together.

Our community groups offer a space to eat together, learn, pray, share life, and serve others. Inspired by the early church, we meet regularly in homes across our community to become more like Jesus.

Here is a list of Community Groups currently running at FCC. You can filter them by ‘Day’ to find one on a particular day that fits your schedule best:

Community Groups FAQs

What are FCC Community Groups?

Small, twice-monthly gatherings of up to 15 people who meet to eat, learn, pray, and serve—just like the early church.

Who can join one?

Anyone who has been part of FCC for more than 12 months. If you have been with us for less than 12 months then we would love for you to join us at our Newbies Course first.

You must be over 18 to join a Community Group, we do have a group for 11-17 year olds called FDY Space which you can sign up for here.

How are groups formed?

On the website, you’ll see groups available, decide which is the best location and time for you and sign up.

I’m new—where do I start?

If you have been with us for less than 12 months then we would love for you to join us at our Newbies Course.

What’s the time commitment?

Most groups meet twice a month, plus three missional gatherings each year (focused on outreach).

How do you keep us safe?

All leaders are given basic safeguarding training, and anyone working with minors holds a DBS check.

What do groups study?

A simple, shared curriculum (video + discussion) on spiritual habits and everyday faith, tied into our Sunday teaching.

Can I invite friends along to my community group?

No. Our community groups are for those who have gone through the official sign up process. In order to keep our community groups a safe environment for others, we ask that you don’t invite others to the group. You are more than welcome to invite friends along to our Alpha Course, or if they attend FCC regularly then you can invite them along to a Newbies Course.
